Is diabetes reversal possible?
Before we get into whether Diabetes is reversible, we should first distinguish between the two types of Diabetes; Type 1 and Type 2.
Type 1 Diabetes, also known as Juvenile Diabetes, is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. And because the pancreas produces very little or no insulin, this type of Diabetes is insulin-dependent. Taking insulin is a necessity to move glucose from the bloodstream into the body’s cells. There is no cure or reversal for such conditions, and patients are left with insulin dependency for the rest of their lives.
Type 2 Diabetes, also known as Adult-onset Diabetes, is a chronic condition that affects how the body processes blood sugar. In this condition, the pancreas produces insulin in insufficient quantity, or the insulin produced is resistant. Insulin resistance is when cells in your muscles, body fat, and liver start resisting or ignoring the signal that the hormone insulin is trying to send out. Basically, such condition can be reversed with an appropriate diet, proper exercise, and meditation. 
A cure is defined as relieving the symptoms of a disease or condition, permanently. Unfortunately, modern medicine does not have a cure for Diabetes. And especially for Type 1 Diabetes, there is no cure; it can only be managed but not reversed. However, Type 2 Diabetes reversal is possible. Reversal is defined as a change to an existing condition. And the condition of high blood sugar caused by insulin resistance can be reversed. The bottom line is that even though Diabetes cannot be “cured”, a “reversal” of Type 2 Diabetes is possible. Reversing Type 2 Diabetes is the process of turning the symptoms of high blood sugar around so that they decrease, eventually becoming nonexistent to the point that reliance on medication is not necessary.
